2. Request your PTDE Packet

   After purchasing, you'll need to get the parent taught drivers ed packet. The PTDE packet contains forms that you’ll submit to your local DPS office when you get your permit and license. Go to aceable.com/packet for all the info.

3. Complete the first level of the course

   Once you’ve completed level 1 you will be able to take your permit test in the course! After passing it, we will email you your DE-964 certificate (for free).

4. Get your permit at the DPS

   Before heading to the DPS, we will send you a checklist of all the items you’ll need to bring with you. At the DPS, you will just take an eye exam.

5. Complete the course and your driving hours

   Aceable’s one-of-a-kind tools will help you and your parents get this done with ease.

6. Get your provisional license

   After completing the course and the 44 hours of in-car practice over 6 months, you will be ready to get your provisional license.

7. Start driving!

• Are there any hidden fees?

  Not here at Aceable! The only other fees are charged by the state of Texas.

• What are the system requirements?

  Here's what you need for the course to work:

  • Either an iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, Android device, laptop, or desktop
  • An internet connection (Wi-Fi or cellular data)

  Our course/app can be used on multiple devices. Your course progress will automatically be synced!

• Can I try it out before purchasing?

  The first level (there are 12 in total) is our gift to you. That's the first six hours worth of classroom content! If you like it, you can purchase the course.
